Jason, I can review coffee shops in Southern Oregon. How soon do you need them and what should I be critiquing?

I’m interested though :)

What if we interview and review on video and then send it to you? I found some really cool coffee houses here in mid-town and they are unique. As always, Mr Coffee, your coffee filled brain is fired up and filled to the brim with some good ideas :)

@Aaron Tweeton – I will need the first one in the next 1-2 weeks. Then we can move forward from there. You can either email the article to me or post it on your blog and email me the link. Really it’s up to what you want to do. It just needs to be in this format: http://coffeecupnews.org/index.php/2009/09/doozens-coffee-shop-review/ & the rating done based on this criteria, http://coffeecupnews.org/index.php/2009/01/what-makes-a-coffee-shop-good-jason-coffees-review-and-ranking-system/ But don’t feel like you have to memorize the criteria just become familiar with it, so you can speak to it when you do the rating.

Let me know if you have any questions along the way.

@Bobbi B – I liked the post, great job. Can you visit a local coffee shop in the next week or so and rate it on the 5 star scale? There is a link above to the suggested layout and rating system. What do you think?

Hey Jason,
I’m interested in joining. I’m in the north chicago burbs. I used to work at starbucks but now have been trying to find local places to try out. I love coffee and seeing what independent shops have to offer.

I don’t have a blog, but if you ever need reviews just let me know. It will give me an excuse to seek even more shops :)

I know I’m a little bit behind on things, but if you still have a space open, I’d love to get in on this if you don’t have the Tampa area already covered.

I have been looking for a way to help contribute to my local coffee community and this sounds like it would be great. I am in the Greater Seattle area and most of all I have a great passion for Coffee and a growing interest in our local shops. I think I will get started by writing something and when im finished I will email it to you.

Thanks for the inspiration,
Jarred

I should be able to do that no problem. Just found out about a coffee shop that’s almost literally up the street from me, I’m going to head over ASAP.

Kudos Jason, I love the Google maps mash-up here and the ability to find coffee shop reviews by geographic location and then by ratings. This is especially great for those who might be traveling and who want to find a great coffee shop.

I do a coffee blog and weekly segment for our local news station in Middle Georgia. I’ll be leaving the station soon, and starting my own coffee blog, so would be happy to cover shops, etc. in my area. I’d rather not post the station’s blog, but can send writing samples, should you be at all interested. Thanks.

Mallie can you email me? jason(at)coffeecupnewsDOTorg
