I’ve tried flavored coffees a few times, and I just can’t make myself like them. They always taste artificial and fake, and that fake flavor just wrecks the nice coffee flavor underneath. The artificial flavor just overpowers everything…I think they’re for people who don’t really like the taste of coffee in the first place.

QOTD: I love Milky Way Midnight….dark chocolate is the best. I’m also a sucker for Godiva dark chocolate truffles.

  2. I liked the Rain Forest Crunch, I didn’t get the chemical taste or anything along that lines when I tasted. I thought it was full of taste and my tongue really liked it. But that’s just me and I’m one of the people that does like flavored coffees.

QOTD – I couldn’t choose between Skittles or Milkyway.

The hazelnut flavor sounds like something I can get down with, but generally, not a fan of flavored coffees.

QOTD: I love Milky Way Midnight.

Yeah, I suppose if you don’t like flavored coffees, this wouldn’t do it for you. I like flavors, especially for my black iced coffee…and this is my current favorite! I like the creamy vanilla & nutty blend of it, though.

QOTD: Hard to decide between gummy worms & almond joy… unlike everyone else, I can’t stand milky ways!

I love flavored coffee. Always have. I cannot stand plain coffee and hardly will ever pay for one. The only flavored coffee that has a bad aftertaste to me is almond coffee. My favorite is anything with carmel.

Jason, I am on vacation with limited internet so I’m just glad I got to catch up a little. I think flavored coffees have their place. They are great for those who may not really love coffee, but who love the “idea of coffee” and who want to consider themselves coffee lovers. There was a time when I enjoyed a good flavored coffee, but my coffee tastes have matured and I love to tast the nuances in single origin coffees, that have not been “doctored.” It has been a long time since I have had a flavored coffee, and it will likely be a much longer time before I do.

qotd? Reeses Crunchy or a Mars bar.

Hazelnut coffee's always intrigue me but none of the ones I have tried seem to be ultimately satisfying.

QOTD: I try to avoid candy during race training but I am a sucker for butterfinger over the top of tart frozen yogurt. :)

I actually don't like flavored coffee…I usually drink my coffee black as well.

QOTD: Interestingly enough, my favorite candy is Hershey's Bliss dark chocolate (or really any small square of dark chocolate)…see the trend? I also like red wine; I think there's a link there…

I'll lift a cup of Rain Forest Crunch to honor Les Paul. His song, “How High The Moon” was the first Itune I purchased and loaded into my Ipod.

Love great coffee, and if I have to choose a flavor, I'd probably go with Hazelnut. Usually I choose a dark unflavored coffee.

I typically enjoy just about any coffee as long as it is robust. I dont prefer “flavored” settling more for strong dark beans.

Are we supposed to answer the “question of the day” as well?? My favorite candy is Snickers Bar, YUM!
