QOTD – Drinking some Chock Full of Nuts out of my roommate’s coveted Brittany Spears coffee mug. I need to do dishes. On another subject – I have the problem of actually getting sleepy when I drink coffee sometimes. I googled it and found that if one drinks a 8oz. glass of water for every cup of coffee (or espresso shot), it helps the body fight dehydration from the coffee (which ultimately leads to fatigue). What do you think about this?

Just finished dress rehearsal and now waiting for graduation at the college where I teach and enjoying some of the private estate coffee I bought off eBay because EVERYTHING is better with coffee.

    Hi Jason,

Martin here from Nectar of Life. Just want to point out a few things.

    1) The Sumatra is from the the Gayo Mountain region of Aceh Sumatra.

    2) The Central American coffee is from the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala. It is a Strictly Hard Bean (SHB) coffee grown at the elevation you mentioned. It is a wonderful coffee and is solely responsible for the citrus and acidity you mentioned.

    3) We sell 12oz, 1lb and 5lb packages through our website http://www.NectarOfLife.com . The prices for this coffee are as follows: 12oz=$9.99, 1lb=$10.99, 5lb=$45.00. We keep the price on 12oz packages at that level so as not to undercut retailers of our coffees. So, with the 5lb package the price is only $9.00/lb, and we offer free shipping on orders over $75.00.

Thanks for the review and keep up the good work!

    Martin

@Martin Thank you for pointing that out. It was a slip on my part, I said Central America when I meant Sumatra. Oops! One of the fun parts about not editing. :) Thanks for the clarification on your prices, the region and the coffee.
