OfflineI second greencoffeebuyingclub.com..Sometimes it can sell pretty fast, but that's where I think the "let's gauge interest" forum posts are important. I got a Burundi earlier this year that was amazing.
For other larger purchases, I'm looking at ourcoffeebarn. I'd like to give some coffee away, and I think this would be a good place to buy.
I have purchased from the Roasterie before. It's way handy to stop by if I'm driving up there. They have some amazing coffees, and since it's air roasted, many home roasters can really compare closely to the notes that each coffee gets. Besides, Norman is probably one of the most knowledgable people I've ever met.
I usually purchase from Sweet Maria's, but mostly because my personal consumption isn't that great, and I can get a lot of different types.
PT's is local to me, but I haven't purchased anything from them yet. I personally don't like much of their roasted coffee. It's always way bitter for me, but I would like to compare their drum roasts to my home/air roasts. They're getting some really good new coffees, and I'm sure I'll be trying some.
Lastly, I've purchased green from a local coffee shop Lazios. I've become pretty good friends with everyone there. What's neat is that they get their coffee from Cafe Imports, which is also where ourcoffeebarn gets it, so if I do find a good one, I wont feel like I'm taking from their stash and can order more or less from the same place.

OfflineDustin, what has been your experience with greencoffeebuyingclub? I am a member, but I have always been a little reluctant because their prices are no better (sometimes even higher) than some of the vendors from whom I now buy and whom I know I can trust. You say you have gotten some amazing coffee there, but have you gotten any with which you were really disappointed?

OfflineI usually order from greenbeanery.ca
They are in Canada, which keeps the shipping down (a bit) haha.

OfflineAlso,
I would really suggest that 'coffeeadventures' cut their signature pic down, it really takes up a huge amount of space in the forum.
We should probably have some sort of guidelines on that set in place, it makes it hard to read the threads!

OfflineI've only purchased one coffee through the club, and it was at the tail end of a distribution. I just paid for it via paypal links on the forum and all went well.
My first purchase with them was on a zip foil bag distribution and not coffee, so I think there is value there too.
