I liked your first review. I've been a fan of One Republic since they blew up with their single, Apologize. I haven't purchased any of their music yet, but I got to see a recorded live performance last year on tv. They were really good live. A funny side story (not that funny): I was belting out the song, Stop And Stare, when I was rear-ended in Sept. 2008. I found it truly ironic because the song even has a line, "Steady hands, just take the wheel…" Also, it's about reminiscing over past mistakes. It fit my life situation at the time. The lyrics, "Stop and stare, I think I'm moving but I go nowhere" fit the actual situation of being in a car wreck too. I was at a dead-end job & feeling like I couldn't take it anymore. I was laid off a few months later. Frown

I'm still not employed at a regualr job. But I'm happy that I'm not at that job anymore. It was highly stressful. I'll have to check out these tunes you guys recommended! Laugh

p.s. I'd love to do music reviews. I took a songwriting class last year & then took my first vocal lessons this last semester.

That is a really ironic story in more ways than one. What is your favorite genre of music?

Ok I would love to see you guys review Beardyman:

And Dub FX:

They both are great artist that really do their thing and do it really good. These would be a good option to review insead of all the mainstream crap. Sorry but I am not that fond of mainstream artists Wink

Awesome. Beardyman is a great beatboxer and have won alot of competitions and also have hosted many shows and also are a part owner in a club. He has done commercials, music videos, stand up comedy shows mixed with his way of making music. Hes is really an awsome artist.

And Dub FX he is amazind in his own way. He is making alot with other artists and travel the world performing in the streets and at festivals. He originates from Australia, and live his dream. I totaly love his lyrics, they have deepth and meaning to me atleast. He is talking to my heart.

Really look forward to the reviews.

Regards.
