Let's just say, there was a local coffee shop you love to go to. You like the vibe, the coffee, the fact that it's not a Bux or a Bean, but you don't care for the owner, who is ALWAYS there. Would you still give them your business? How much should that weigh on your decision to support a business?

I agree with Matt to a certain degree. If the baristas are awesome and fun to talk with and the coffee was on par then I might still consider going there. But if either of those two factors were missing I have little doubt that I would skip that coffee shop. Especially if the owner was as you said, "ALWAYS there"
