OfflineI've been wanting to find a nice, cozy, friendly, and preferably nearby, coffee shop, but I'm at a loss. Major chains have web sites and mobile apps with store locators. However, smaller or indy shops, not so much. So I'm truly clueless as to how I might go about finding one. Most people I ask will usually go to Starbucks, or some will say they just drink what's at the office or gas station.
Since I live in Dallas, that may be a disadvantage, since it feels like it's cookie-cutter dining central, but there is a nice local chain, called Cafe Brazil. There are a few Dunn Brothers, but then, that's about it.
So my primary question is, again, how did you find your little corner coffee shop, if you have one? But also, how far are you willing to routinely go for a coffee?

OfflineGreat question. Usually I will just google something like: best coffee shops in Dallas Texas or Dallas Texas Coffee Shop Reviews, etc… There are also cool sites like yelp or urbanspoon that can be a big help. I also will do searches on google maps in my area for Coffee.
I did a search in Dallas, Texas and found this place called Murray Street Coffee Shop, it gets really good reviews and has a cool little website. I also found Moka Coffee Bar. Hopefully they are close enough to you to check out. Let me know if that helps.
