I have really been enjoying this local place called Benetti's in Independence Missouri. They roast their own coffee and pull some really amazing espresso shots. The staff is super friendly and knowledgable. The place feels like an extension of my living room, it's awesome! What is your favorite Coffee Shop right now?

I love Chestnut Hill Coffee Company here in Philly. The coffee is great, the people are so sweet, and the place is just cozy. Even when it's busy they still have time for everyone. http://www.chestnuthillcoffee.com/ I'm going this weekend and so excited!

I usually go to Caffe Nero (here in London), their espressos are really good!

I don't have a particular favourite, but my mom quite likes the coffee from McCafe in Hong Kong, which is actually the cafe branch of McDonald's =P

There's a little local shop called the Conservative Cafe that pulls a great shot of espresso.

Jason is right, that is a neat little website, and I love that they sell local.  To me the coffee industry should be more "personal."  Perhaps that is what I really don't like all that much about Starbucks.  It's like the difference between your local True Value hardware store and Menards; yeah they have market penetration, but is that necessarily a good thing?

The Roasterie sounds pretty good to me.  I enjoyed the episode you did there, and what could be better than a place that roasts their own beans on site?

I am looking forward to the vac-pot video.  I love my vac-pot and it will be great to see a "professional" making great coffee in one.

I like a coffee chain called It's a Grind Coffee House.  They started locally in Long Beach CA but have grown into a national franchise.  Their coffee is hot, the stores are cozy and the staff is always friendly.  Smile

What more could one ask for in a coffee shop?  Cozy and good customer service sounds like a very inviting and great place to spend time with friends and family catching up on old times, making plans for the future, and enjoying the best of life's beverages together.  It's awesome that you have someplace like this to enjoy.

I of course love my local Starbucks, but I found this little locally owned coffee shop called Brooklyn's Daily Grind.  I love it because it is very unique.  Coffee shop by day and cocktail bar by night! They have local bands/musicians playing there in the evenings on the weekends too.  It's one of those hidden gems that not everyone knows about.  If you live near Toledo, Ohio, I definitely recommend checking it out.

This looks like a pretty nice little cafe. There are a few non-Starbucks cafes around here, but they are too few and too far between. I'm glad you have someplace like the Brookllyn Daily Grind to go.
