Raspberry aroma and cherry taste sounds delicious not sure how much I can get down with the smokiness, how intense was the smokiness?

Maybe it would be more enjoyable as brewed coffee?

& yes we are rocking it out this week!

Great episode. :D

It wasn't an overly dark roast, it was more of a smokiness/ chocolate play that you get from a brazil taken near or into second crack.

I was more disappointed with the lack of body, even pulled as a ristretto is was kind of thin.

Keep in mind: this isn't like charbucks or anything, I may have scored this a little harsh.

However, I know there are much better coffees out there, which is why I did.

Best

Great post Matt.  I am really enjoying the espresso reviews.  I was curious as to whether you have been following CoffeeGeek's efforts at coming up with a more appropriate espresso scoring sheet than the coffee scoring sheet? I have not been, but I am curious to know what he came up with.
