I’ve had that IZZE myself and it is very tart. I’m going to guess the pairing suggestion was for food instead of a carbinated drink. The cinnimon sounds much better.

Hey Jason, interesting tasting. Quick question: I assume this coffee is yet another Starbucks city roast? I’m betting the coffee would be much better as a medium roast.

Starbucks roasts their coffee darker to stay consistent with the flavor profile across thousands of stores.

I understand why they do it, but it often results in coffee that tastes like the roast instead of the coffee. Was just asking for your opinion about whether it would taste better, not why they roast it that way.
