Nectar of Life Sumatra had an herbal, spice flavor with a smooth earthiness and a wood like after tone.

QOTD — My favorite song is called “#41″ by the Dave Matthews Band. It has an amazing chord progression, and a saxophone solo that fueled my passion for playing. Jason as you would say, this song is definitely a “recommend”.

Ok, this changes for me from season to season and with my moods. My all-time favorite would have to be both the studio and acoustic versions of “Como Me Acuerdo” (Draco Rosa). The studio version is an amazing fusion of sounds and the acoustic version is full of emotion. If I’m feeling nostalgic, it’s “As” (Stevie Wonder). If I’m feeling cheeky, it’s definitely “Boogie Wonderland” (Earth, Wind and Fire)

Favorite all time song? Wow, as a drummer in a metal band that is a tough one. I will venture on to say that Silent Lucidity by Queensryche probably takes the cake. I like the heavier side of music, but this song has always meant something to me personally, and that is what music is supposed to do…..invoke a feeling. Peace!

Sumatra seems the coffee du jour these days.
QOTD: Right now, I’m digging “He Doesn’t Know” by Fleet Foxes. They have such a groovy, late ’60s/early ’70s sound!

Hi! My first time here but wanted to say hi! I help out over at Daily Shot of Coffee and he told me I had to come check you out!
Mike B–great song choice! I love that song. And “Say Goodbye” by DMB too.
I have tons of fave songs. But for the last 2.5 years it’s been Daughtry’s “What about now” (well actually, it’s most of the songs on his album). It really strikes me hard with the lyrics “what about now, what about today, what if you’re making me, all that I was meant to be.”

That’s a hard one because my musical mood is constantly rotating. I really don’t think I can pick one. I’ve been thinking about it for a few minutes and still didn’t come up with anything.

It is incredibly hard to pick just one favorite Dave Matthews song, but I think one of his best is Christmas Song (not related to that old favorite about Chestnuts).
