Question of the Day?
Have you EVER picked berries in a berry grove?

good point! looking forward to the next episode.
thanks. What point are you referring to?
I’m so glad you got to try this coffee and loved your expression. Can’t wait to try it myself. From how you described it, I immediately wanted some strawberry lemonade.
qotd- I have been strawberry picking a couple years ago in Wilmington, NC. They also had a raspberry and blackberry fields. After you got done picking, you could get homemade ice cream they make from their berries.
OMG that sounds so good Jennifer. Both the lemonade and the ice cream w/ berries! My kids do berries with yogurt as a healthy alternative.
Hey, brilliant coffee, love the all the excitement.
As a long time viewer I feel like I need to point out this ran a little long for just just a review, I found myself resisting skipping along…
Anyway, I love the show and I love the super quality coffee reviews!
Keep it rockin’ Jason.
Thanks Matt!
I was feeling that a bit the last few episodes I have edited as well. Sometimes when a coffee is REALLY good it’s hard for me to hold back. lol.
I was at the live show! It was fun talking about burgers & coffee with everyone in the live chat!
Watching this show makes me think I need to try to get out to see relatives in KC so I can go try one of those burgers at Dean and Deluca. I don’t think there is a D’nD here in AZ. (I should find out.)
oooo yes, the loaded burger was amazing I HIGHLY recommend it.
Oh, didn’t watch this video before replying. I only got the chance to pick from a berry grove once. I was visiting family in Springfield, MA. I got to pick fresh blueberries. There’s nothing else like it! My mom used to grow wild strawberries in our apartment patio when I was very young. Those were good but it wasn’t a grove.
Those kid memories are the best. That reminds me of my kids picking berries in our backyard. We grow black and raspberries. They are always picking them when they are ripe and coming it to share. Always makes me smile.
We pick blueberries and blackberries as they become ripe here in MI. Sometimes I need think I eat more than I leave with.
isn’t that the truth. I think my kids eat more off the vine than we are able to keep for a pie or two as well.
I have read a great deal about Oren’s Daily Roast on the internet and was wondering if it actually lived up to all of the hype. It sounds like it does based on your review. I am glad that they are sponsoring you and that you got the opportunity to try their coffee and to review it. I have only reviewed a couple of coffees and quite frankly the commercial ones were not all that good. I guess if you have to put up with the bad ones, it is well deserved when you get to taste a great one like this.
qotd? My parents still live on the “farm” we grew up on. We have raspberry and blackberry bushes as well as a strawberry patch and I remember picking them all. It has been a couple of years since I got to pick any.
