Jason reviews this semi-rare coffee from Colombia that contains some of the smallest coffee beans he has ever seen. This coffee is brought to us by Lahe Lahe a small roaster in Yorkville, Illinois by a gentlemen named Erich.
Jason went 90+ points during the video but in calculating the final score it ended up at 92 points. Great Coffee, Great Score.

I’m definitely going to have to try this coffee! Although I hope it is sealed in someway…
QOTD – Night time after dinner. This is after work, I’ve made my commute home and had dinner with my family, then I can really relax and spend my time how I wish. Gotta love that!

Thanks for the kind review Jason. We are glad you enjoyed the Peaberry. In answer to the above comment about the sealed bags, we do ship in sealed bags.
Favorite time of day for me is early morning when I get up and sit on the coach with my favorite mug filled with great LaheLahe coffee remebering that life is not meant to be lived at the speed of light.

Peaberry coffee is nothing more than an abberant coffee berry that has two smaller, twin-like seeds (beans) instead of a single normal seed/bean. There is nothing extraordinary about peaberry except its genetic rarity in normal coffee harvests. Peaberry beans taste the same as their singleton siblings. Good marketing, dude.

Yorkville is literally down the street from where I used to live. My parents still live up in that area.
I’ve never had Peaberry coffee, that one sounds like a good one to start with.
QOTD – I’m a night person so anytime after ten is really when I can get into a groove with work, reading a book, etc.

This sounds like an excellent coffee. The combination of cinnamon and milk chocolate sounds intriguing.
qotd? I would have to say early morning. I love to go to work and hear the birds just starting to sing. It is also the most quiet time of day before all the hassles of the day have had a chance to impact the sanctity of the day.

Living near Yorkville myself, I’ve been curious about Lahe Lahe for a while, so I looked them up (and found the coffeecupnews.org review). I paid them a visit just yesterday while they were roasting another one of their specialty coffees. They sent me home with a sample of their Sumatra, and all I can say is WOW. My coffee shopping days are over. I don’t know where these guys learned their craft, but the Sumatra was the best grind I’ve had in my kitchen… maybe ever. I’ll be trying this one next!

Coffee is one of the best ways to slow down and enjoy life, love the meaning to the name.
