Jason compares  different Colombian Coffees in a Keurig Brewer and picks a clear winner out of the four. My son gives a shout out towards the end in the background. Apparently he cut his foot and was applying peroxide, Ouch!

  • Coffee kind of reminds me of wine…it’s amazing the differences you can get within the same “varietal.” Thanks for the reviews!

QOTD: I will add garlic to just about anything. Also cilantro, which is so unique, I love finding ways to use it.

  • I’m really enjoying the side by side comparisons.

Wow, that Timothy’s one sounds really bad.

I’m a big fan of seasoned salt during the summer. Great on burgers, corn on the cob, etc.

  • I like the Timothy’s Columbia La Vereda.
As for favourite spice – I like Clubhouse Brand blend – Montreal Steak Spice. It’s good on all types of meat!

  • There sure is more “bang for the buck” on the side-by-side comparisons. You mentioned “cleansing the palette” and it made me wonder if there is something you could use to cleanse your palette between coffees; perhaps some ice cream.

qotd? As far as spices go: onion and garlic. There isn’t anything that isn’t better with onion or garlic, but I am with you on the cayenne pepper, I do like to add cayenne to most meats that I eat.

  • I use to like the K-Cup coffee but it is not as good as when it was a year ago, I bought the better coffee maker also and now I do not even use it. The coffee is not that good any more and the price is to high.

  • I love me a mild coffee. Mmmm.

QOTD: I love garlic… and a coarse sea salt. My hubby… loves pepper. Not me though. Spicy burns my mouth off.

  • Whole Foods is great! Unbelievable store. Agree with the Blackberries. Their killer, esp with cream. Here’s a study saying that getting the five heart smart fruits a day are great but they do no good with out the dairy fat. http://www.mdpi.com/1660-4601/6/10/2626 .

Favorite spice: I would have to say Nutmeg. It can cover up a good amount of cooking errors, adding it to coffee is like adding a touch of liquor, and they say if you have enough of it . . .

  • @O2H2D2 | Matt – thanks for the share. I love finding out about new ways of eating healthy. I will check that article out this week.
