Coffee Stuff: Coffee Calenders for 2010

I know it is hard to believe but the new year is on the horizon and 2010 is just around the corner. Whether the thought of that gets you excited to reign in the new year or it is dreadful to you (because of missed opportunities and what not) one thing is for sure, it’s coming. And with 2010 so close it is time to start making plans for the upcoming year: parties, vacations, appointments, classes, trips and all the things your wish you did in 2009. And what better way to do that than with fully caffienated Coffee Calenders.
Picture Perfect The first calender (top left) is a picture perfect with shots of cups, mugs, espresso and beans. I personally think this might be my choice for the new year because I like the “realness” of it and how it inspires me to do what I love most, drink another cup! Though some of the shots are not “realistic” they are artful and draw you in like that first cup in the morning.
This calender is fun. It takes older pictures, looking to be from old school advertisements, of happy people and places funny quotes in the scene with them. They are saying things like, “Coffee Rocks!” and “I am just plain EVIL without my coffee.” Admittedly some of them are cheesy but I think that is the whole point. If you like your coffee with a little comedy on the side this might be just the calender that helps you party like its 1959.
For me this is the calender that is in fierce competition with the Picture Perfect Calender to see who will be hung on my wall for the whole of 2010. It might not normally be the way I roll but it’s color scheme and inventive scenes are calming and fun. Plus the fact that Dan DiPaolo painted the scenes in this calender and used real coffee for added authenticity. This one is a little more pricey but with real coffee being used to paint the scenes you might be able to skip your morning coffee and just smell the calender instead, nah…

I like all three, I always seem to get a calendar for Christmas…might have to point some members of my family towards this post.

Do they have digital versions of these? About the only calendars I seem to use any more is my assortment of work and personal Google calendars. It would be awesome if there were a calendar for my computer that had a coffee related theme.
Perhaps one (or more) of these would make a good give-away on CoffeeCupNews.org.

@Neil – I don’t think so Neil. I hear ya on using digital. For me some reason it is helpful to see it on paper. Helps me remember a little better to have it right in front of me. Good idea on the Giveaway, maybe as we get closer to the New Year it would be a good item to win. Good ideas as usual.

@coffee machine – I just tested the links. It worked for me. After you get to the site do you see the small pictures below the main one? click the one to the right and you can see the small examples of the pictures for the different months.
