I don’t spend a lot of time at coffee shops as I am a home roaster who also has a good quality grinder (Nuova Simonelli) and espresso machine (Rancilio Silvia), but I sometimes wonder how much “culture” I miss.
I guess coffeecupnews.org IS MY COFFEE CULTURE!

I’ve never been to the It’s A Grind in Overland Park, but the chain (in general) is one of my all-time favorite coffee shop chains! I spent many, many hours in the It’s A Grind in Columbia, Missouri studying! Their coffee was delicious and their cold espresso-based beverages were the best (iced lattes and iced mochas). The baristas knew my friends and I (because we frequented the place) and eventually became really chummy with us and familiar with our drink choices! I now live in Minnesota and WISH I had an It’s a Grind nearby where I could hang out, get free Wi-Fi and enjoy a delicious drink every now and then.
I’m not a big flavored coffee girl, but the It’s a Grind Winter Blend is one of my favorite cold-weather coffees, especially around the holidays! This really made me miss It’s a Grind!

French Press is just coffee in the pot, put on boiling water, after a while, push the press down and enjoy the coffee!
