I’m a Macchiato fan. It’s what I make most at home but when I’m out I don’t always trust that it’s going to just be a shot with foam as some places do a long black with a bit of foam on it so I usually order a double shot flat white, which is a style that originated by name in Australia and by style here in New Zealand and is becoming popular in Britain ( ). If I’m in the mood I’ll sometimes get a long black (usually served the same way as your Americano I think – a shot with hot water on the side to add) but I have to trust that the place is using great coffee and the barista knows what they’re doing to get that. Milk covers a bunch of sins.

I will definitely prefer cafe mocha, its my all time favorite because it is a perfect combination of dark chocolate and milk with whipped cream.Love it!!!
