Coffee Blogs
Coffee Hero by Michael Allen Smith
This is a coffee blog primarily written from the perspective of Michael. He writes about his everyday happenings in relation to coffee and detailed tutorials including posts such as: Home Latte Art Attempt #1, Espresso Forgiveness & Home Roasting Math.
Jim Seven by James Hoffman
James is a pro when it comes to making espresso drinks to say the least. He was the UK Barista champion in 2006 and 2007 as well as the World Barista Champion in 2007. He has many insightful posts including in depth tutorials and helpful advice for baristas. A couple of posts I have enjoyed recently include: Mypressi Twist & Opting In.
Daily Shot of Coffee by Mike Crimmins
If you have not checked out Mike’s blog you are missing out. He has many different articles ranging from how to make Starbucks Drinks and read the Starbucks Menu to highlighting a coffee he is currently drinking. The thing I like about Mike is that he is down to earth and his blog is written from the average coffee-joe perspective.
Clean Hot Dry by a few baristas
Clean Hot Dry is hard to find info on but I enjoy reading it immensely. It looks to be a blog written by baristas that work in Vancouver, BC. All I know is that the pictures on this blog are framed so well it makes it feel like you are right there with them. Posts like New York 09 and Western Regionals keep me coming back for more.
Starbucks Melody by Melody Overton
It’s all in the name. The blog’s author is Melody and she blogs about Starbucks. If you want to know anything about what Starbucks is doing, promoting or her journey as a customer this is the blog for you. She has fun posts like Collecting City Mugs and helpful info like the Starbucks Whole Bean Menu Board.
Now this blog is right in the middle of everything Starbucks. Many of the commentators here look to be either current or former Starbucks partners/employees. If you want to know something about Starbucks before anyone else, including the baristas in the store, then this is a blog you should check out. Most of the posts are DJ in nature. They redirect you to other stories while giving you an open forum to talk about the contents. Some examples are: Howard Schultz Q & A and Starbucks is #93.
Caffination by Paul Rj Muller
This is an audio podcast that highlights the latest tech and food/beverage information while highlighting cool stories form around the blog-sphere. I enjoyed this podcast where he talk about Coffee Kids and Sweet Marias.
Other Sites I Like
If you don’t know Gary then you are missing out on something awesome. He is an amazing motivator and is one of my favorite people in the social media world. He has a passion for 2 things wine and people and he has the chops to prove it. If this is your first time hearing about Gary that I would highly encourage you to watch 2 videos. To be honest it doesn’t really matter which 2, just watch 2 and you will see what I am talking about.

Thanks for the shout out to Coffee Hero! And thanks for a few more coffee blog leads.
@MAS – My pleasure. Thanks for making such fun, good content for us to consume.
Really honored to be included. I don’t think it’s a secret that besides my own coffee blog, this is one of my favorite coffee blogs. It’s always on the list when people ask me about other coffee blogs, especially videos.
@Mike from Daily Shot Of Coffee – thanks, you da man!
Jason, thanks for the links, I had not subscribed to many of these blogs before, but I am now. Mike, yours is one to which I have now subscribed. I guess the only thing left for me to do now is to start my own coffee blog so that I can join the mutual admiration society because you guys are the bomb (or would it be the bean) and I would love to be a part of this fraternity.
Actually, I have thought about doing one for home roasters, but I do not have the time or resources to make it as first class as you all do, and I have always been taught, “It’s either first class, or it is no class.” You guys are first class. Keep up the outstanding work.
I really like your Coffee Cup News. I’m newbe in the blogging world, and in the coffee blogs… As a coffee lover, I’ll give it a try with my coffee blog!
Thanks for your video news!
Nice List I Have A Feeling It Will Increase As Time Goes On . 2 Sites Thats Come 2 Mind For Me Is http://www.coffeereview.com It’s A Great Reference Point For Coffee Reviews, Especially For Inexperienced Tasters, Because The Reviews Give The Notes About Different Coffees. Just A Nice Coffee Reference Site In General. Jennifer From Daily Demitasse Has A Well Put Together Site. Her Focus Is More From A Baristas Point Of View, But Also Giving Coffee Relevant Information & Teaching More About Coffee As Well As The Industry, I Feel That Her Site Has And Will Grow To Be A Niche Type Of Coffee Site. http://www.dailydemitasse.com . Good Job Jason As Always Much Success Glad To See Coffee Moving, It Really Is Because Of You Guys , I Feel U Hold Companies Accountable For Their Coffee Now, Which Is Great Because U Reviewers Arent Bought By The Big Companies To Help Them With Sales. Most Of Ur List Have Tried My Coffee & I Would Like To Thank Each Of You For Ur Honest Reviews! The World Need Honest Coffee. Be On The Look Out For BODY Coming To A Mug Near You! C|_|

Cheers.
@BaristaOnDutY – Hey thanks for recommendation. I have big plans for content. Everyone already mentioned have great blogs ad I hope to be along with them.
I appreciate the recommendation. I have big plans for content. I read everyone’s blogs, that have been mentioned, as well and hope to be a part of this list soon.
Jason, I have recently started watching your vids after you began following me on twitter last week. I’ve watched a LOT of them by now, and while your information about widely available coffees is pretty good, there is one coffee Video Blogger I think is putting out a better show: inmymug.com He’s based out of the UK, and so little of the coffee he talks about is affordable to get in the ‘States, but his entertainment & content value is right up there with GaryV. You need to turn other followers on to his site and videos, because they are awesome. Don’t think I’m going to stop watching you, because I’ll continue to watch both. And I think others should as well.
