    QOTD: Danger Zone (Top Gun).

I had a coffee just last week that had a dustiness on the nose and worse, on the palette. This dustiness can only be described as if you walked through a chalk cloud just after someone smacked two chalkboard erasers together.

What a fun episode. You and Adam were having way too much fun doing this tasting. I think you have to admit that he absolutely nailed it at about the six minute mark (I forgot to look exactly) when you said, “It’s like I licked a sheep,” and Adam said, “But in a good way.” I don’t know about anyone else, but I thought that was hilarious.

qotd? I can’t ever imagine myself doing karaoke, but if I ever did it would have to be your old theme song: “Coffee, coffee, I like coffee . . . .”

I recently discovered Stumptown Coffee in the Ace Hotel – NYC. It’s absolutely full bodied and delicious. They brew with a French Press. I’d be interested to see your coffee/cheese tasting notes on this one.

Ah the aged taste of cheese that lingers on the pallet. The taste of a fine rich dark roasted coffee Kenya… Have you ever tasted the Ethiopian coffee paired with age bleu cheese? That is like a bit of heaven, some say its better then sex.
The Question of the day… Have not done Karaoke in years and to be truthful I did it one time out of my mind (OK drunk) and the song was”Proud Mary”
And I suck at it too…

I need to try that one. I imagine the sweet fuity taste of a Yirgaffe would pair well with bleu cheese. Excellent song choice. Always good to throw-down on some Ike and Tina.

You two are a great pairing.

I always wondered if people understood what i meant when saying goat cheese tastes like what a wet goat or dog smells like. So, just to say, while your sheep licking comments bring disturbing and funny images to mind, it really helped in understanding what you were tasting.

Wish I could karaoke Barry White’s, You Sexy Thang.
