My Experience

The sun was shinning, a cool breeze was blowing and as I walked up I saw people eating ice cream in front of the coffee house. As I walked through the door it was more than obvious that this establishment was geared more toward the first part of it’s name, Ice Cream. On my left there was a wall of fame labeled “Whole Banana Split” with pictures of highly satisfied customers who had finished a whole split by themselves(There were at least 100 pictures of people). Decorations of Ice Cream and the Ice Cream display itself took up a good 90% of the cafe’. As I walked toward the back I could see what I had come for. In the very back corner the last 10% was set aside for the second part of their name, Coffee House. I was barely greeted and asked, “What can I get for you?” “double espresso please.”, I said. I watched as she carefully tamped and pulled my shot. The first go at it wasn’t to her liking so she went for round two. Her face said now these are perfect shots. At my first sip it was like a wrecking ball hit my tongue with an overwhelmingly intense mocha flavor. As I let the flavor set I started to notice the strawberry hints on the back end of my tongue. “Now this is a good shot of espresso!”, I thought. As I left I heard no good bye have a nice day, just the silence of an empty shop and the sweet smell of Ice Cream.

That looks like it was one good cup of espresso.
